Fund Objective
The Madison Hansberger International Growth Fund seeks to provide high long-term total return.
Investment Strategies
The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80% of total assets in the equity securities (including common stock, preferred stock and convertible securities) of companies organized or located outside of the U.S. Even though these companies are based outside of the U.S., their securities may be traded on U.S. securities markets. The fund will invest in at least three different countries and generally expects to be invested in more than three countries, including countries considered to be emerging market countries. The fund anticipates that it will invest primarily in common stock, though the balance of its equity holdings may vary.

Thomas Tibbles, CFA
Tom Tibbles serves as CEO & CIO of Hansberger Growth Investors, L.P. (“HGI”) as well as serving on the firm’s Governing Board. In his role, Tom is a portfolio manager as well as being responsible for asset allocation and risk management decisions. He is also a key member of the Quantitative Research effort at HGI. Prior to joining our predecessor firm, Hansberger Global Investors, Inc. (“Old HGI”), in 1999, Tom headed up the Global Equity Team at Indago Capital Management in Toronto, an affiliate of Canada Life. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction from the University of Toronto, Trinity College. While attending the University of Toronto, he was awarded the Martin R. Lindsay Scholarship for performance in advanced finance and a Trinity College Scholarship for overall performance. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.

Patrick Tan
Patrick Tan joined our firm in April 1999 and is a senior member of the growth investment team. Patrick, Barry and Tom initially formed the Growth Team in 1996 when they were with Indago Capital Management. As a portfolio manager and equity analyst; Patrick is responsible for fundamental equity analysis and co-managing international equity portfolios. He is also a key member of the Quantitative Research effort at HGI. Previously, he was involved in quantitative analysis of portfolios, program trading, research technology, database management and performance measurement. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Commerce and Economics from the University of Toronto.
The investment adviser to the fund is Madison Asset Management, LLC (“Madison”). Madison has delegated the day-to-day responsibility of managing the fund to Hansberger Growth Investors, L.P. - an affiliate of Madison.
